Melville, NY Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. has completed a 3,998 s/f, single-story building project on behalf of TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. The interior fit-out project, for which Racanelli served as the general contractor, was for a TD Ameritrade facility. Racanelli has constructed other TD Ameritrade facilities in the past, including a project in Smithtown in October 2017 and a Manhattan project in February 2018.
According to Vincent Barone, project manager at Racanelli Construction, the latest TD Ameritrade project involved the complete renovation of all existing interior finishes. The new build out included several new offices, a conference room with full height glass walls, new men’s and women’s restrooms, team rooms and seating areas. The space received a complete new heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system, new plumbing and electric system including panels and fire alarm and sprinkler system. The interior finishes were all vinyl tile, carpet tile, and subway wall tile in the restrooms.
The project also encompassed exterior painting, new blacktop coating and line striping for the parking lot, and roof repairs.
Serving as the project executive was Richard Racanelli. In addition to Racanelli and Barone, the project team included assistant project manager Mike Amboli and field supervisor Jason Inzirillo. TD Ameritrade’s project manager was Tony Messiner.
The project’s value was $1.2 million. It began in February and was completed mid-June.
