Racanelli Construction Inc. is proud to announce the successful completion of Rocco’s Taco’s & Tequila Bar at the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington, New York. This project marks the only New York location for the brand, with future expansion planned in Boston, Massachusetts.
The scope of work included selective demolition of existing materials, installation of all -new commercial kitchen equipment, and comprehensive upgrades to the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Racanelli Construction also delivered full interior finishes throughout, full interior finishes throughout, creating a vibrant, upscale dining environment that aligns with the brand’s bold and authentic character.
The highlight of the project was the transformation of the front façade. The team opened the existing storefront and extended the space outward to construct a large, temperature-controlled metal and glass solarium, providing additional seating and a striking architectural feature that enhances both functionality and curb appeal.
The completed space offers guests an immersive dining experience centered on authentic Mexican cuisine and handcrafted margaritas, reinforcing Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar’s reputation as a premier destination for elevated casual dining.
