Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. has completed the Raymour & Flanigan Furniture store in Manhattan at 1985 Broadway and 66th Street. This is seventh major project Racanelli has completed for the nation’s 7th largest U.S. furniture retailer in the past two years. The other Raymour & Flanigan stores are located in the towns of Garden City and Patchogue, and The Boroughs of Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx.
The project required the demolition of the existing building formerly housing a Circuit City store and the construction of a 40,000 square foot existing building encompassing an open atrium with extensive custom woodwork throughout. The project, which was completed on a 90-day fast track, was valued at over $2 million. Previous, Racanelli had completed the Bronx store located in the revitalization zone around the new Yankee Stadium at 610 Exterior Street in the Bronx Terminal Market area. This project was valued at $1.7 million dollars.
