Racanelli announces that The Broadway plaza is slated for completion May of this year

Racanelli Construction has been awarded a project in the Bronx, NY called Broadway Plaza. The project consists of three floors, each 74,888 square feet. Serving as a Construction Manager of the project, Racanelli Construction is expected to deliver the retail center, Broadway Plaza, located in the Riverdale trade section of the Bronx, NY its projected completion date is August 2014. Broadway Plaza is conveniently situated at the intersection of W. 230th Street and Broadway. It has direct access off the Major Deegan Expressway and is served by mass transit, including subways and buses. Among the major retailers which already have been announced by Equity One as national tenants to be located at Broadway Plaza are: a Sports Authority, occupying 30,000 square feet; a T.J. Maxx, occupying 24,000 square feet; an Aldi Food Market, occupying 18,000 square feet and a Party City, occupying 9,000 square feet. In total, the space will have 115,000 square feet of gross leasable area and 140 interior parking spaces. A landscaped pedestrian plaza is a feature of the center which is being constructed on a former parking lot which was previously owned by New York City. Broadway Plaza is a LEED-Certified and an Industrial & Commercial Abatement Program (ICAP) qualified project with the City of New York
