2023 Women in Construction: Nelly Fuentes, Racanelli Construction Co., Inc.

Apr 04, 2023

In the past year, what project or accomplishment are you most proud of?

One of my most important accomplishments is to represent Latin Women in Construction. While working in construction, I have faced many challenges. I have conquered these challenges which have helped me build my portfolio in achieving my goals. I continue to blaze a path for other women to follow my lead. My hopes and goals are to continue to eliminate the stereotype that, “the construction industry is a male dominated industry.”

What was a pivotal point in your career?

A pivotal point in my career started with the use of my construction management degree. This lead me to organizations hiring me, acknowledging my skills and potentials which currently has me leading/managing construction projects as a construction project manager.
